Busi Dlamini
Busi Dlamini is an Associate of Reos Partners, a systems change organisation working on critical social issues. She is currently involved in various multi-sectoral initiatives using systems thinking methodologies including the Leadership and Innovation Network for Collaboration in the Children Sector (LINC) and Kago Ya Bana meaning "Building Together for Our Children", both initiatives innovating in the care of children in South Africa . Her previous experience in civic participation processes includes setting up community dialogue forums using community media at ABC Ulwazi a community radio organisation, establishing volunteer structures for AFS Interculture South Africa an international exchange program and co-founding The Gumboots Foundation; a non-profit organisation that provides South Africans living abroad the opportunity to remain involved with their communities.
Both her personal and professional paths have been around social transformation which led to her involvement in numerous social change networks like YSAWID (Young South African Women in Dialogue a progeny of SAWID), CIVICUS and Pioneers of Change, a learning community of young social change agents on five continents.
